The Villas at The Laiken
The Villas at The Laiken consist of 28 one bedroom condo-like units to provide lodging for multiple wedding venues situated on the cliffs of the Texas Hill Country, overlooking Lake Travis. The Villas were designed with an organic modern sensibility that brings an uncommon aesthetic to this region, while delivering a warm and familiar color palette. The Villas blur the lines between luxury hospitality and weddings with high-end amenities and style appealing to targeted demographics.
The Role
Sole designer responsible for the specification, procurement, coordination, and installation of all FF&E, interior and exterior finishes, design details, and plan documentation. Coordinated with dozens of trades and craftspeople to ensure the design vision was executed accurately through on-site direction and instruction. Oversaw installation and project handover in collaboration with multiple teams across Operations, Facilities, Sales, and Marketing. Held responsibility for all decisions pertaining to the property’s appearance, function, and presentation.

The Result
