My name is Sophia Dagan. I am a 2nd year Master of Architecture Candidate at Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning, also from Texas A&M University. I was born and raised in Southern California, where I developed an early appreciation for the relationship between people, place, and home. I became increasingly interested in how architectural design can shape daily experiences and strengthen communities. My passion lies in creating thoughtful, "third" spaces that are both practical and meaningful to forge engagement with the built world around us.
I’m equally drawn to the behind-the-scenes aspects of architecture, particularly project coordination, where design vision meets logistics. I enjoy being part of the process that brings a project from concept to completion, making sure every detail supports the larger intent.
My portfolio includes several designs that showcase my ability to balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability, along with my non-academic practices on local non-profit projects.
