My current role

Alongside completing my MA Architecture degree full-time at The University of Edinburgh, I work as an Architectural Assistant at Ridge & Partners LLP: an AJ100 company specialising in motor sport and sustainable excellence.

My current role consists of creating drawings for RIBA Stage 4 release, liaising with contractors and presenting my ideas to clients.

I aim to be a first point of contact for new assistants, to allow my direct managers to allocate more of their time to project work.

Internally, I research and present as part of a Social Value focus group.

How I work

I have worked as long as I have been legally able to do so: I am well practiced in managing extremely heavy workloads, resulting in excellent time management skills. When introduced to a new, required skill, I will waste no time investing the energy required to do it to the best of my ability: be it software, conceptualising, or otherwise.

I constantly seek opportunities for innovation: primarily in the ergonomic function of a proposal.

I enjoy analysing the social and cultural impact of how a proposal will be used, throughout the design process.

I work best on large, complicated projects that require an ability to keep on top of multiple streams of information at once.
