The F Chalet, situated in the mountainous landscape of Faqra, Lebanon, is designed to complement its natural surroundings. The structure is divided into two main components: solid walls and a rotating black volume. The walls are anchored and contain private spaces within recessed sections. The rotating black volume, which houses public areas, includes movable panels and a retractable glass facade. This design allows the space to transition between open-air environments in summer and enclosed areas during cooler months. This adaptable approach ensures that the F Chalet integrates smoothly with Faqra’s natural topography.
