Ivy Beatrice Restaurant
Project details
This project involves the design and execution of a full-service restaurant, setting 100-130 people, with an adjacent bar & lounge seating 30-40 people. The site is located in a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver The concept of the restaurant was derived from the name of the restaurant- Ivy Beatrice.
Developed a comprehensive design for a restaurant, showcasing creativity and technical skills through a complete construction drawing package and 3D renderings. The concept focused on creating a warm and inviting dining atmosphere, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. Key design elements included efficient space planning, custom millwork details, and thoughtfully selected finishes to enhance the dining experience.

Concept Statement
Our Italian restaurant, Ivy & Beatrice, draws inspiration from the festival of Ferragosto, a time of feasting, celebration, and community. Embracing the spirit of this admired holiday, we offer a dining experience that captures the essence of culinary traditions. Our warm and inviting ambiance, reminiscent of a bustling summer on Lake Garda, invites guests to savor the pleasures of good food and good company. inspired by ancient Roman architecture, our restaurant will feature classic design elements such as arched doorways, colourful mosaic patterns, marble accents and rugged textures of ancient stone. Additionally, influenced by the natural and vibrant hues that evoke the feeling of the Italian Riviera, our design palette includes shades of azure blue, lemony yellow, and olive green. Whether indulging in a leisurely meal with loved ones or enjoying a lively evening with friends, our restaurant promises to evoke the timeless charm and warmth of Ferragosto creating cherished memories for all who dine with us.
