Wheat's Landscapes is a large high end residential design/build and maintenance company servicing the Washington D.C. area. As a Sales/Account Manager, my role was to manage a roll of clients in the NW DC and Maryland suburbs of Potomac and Bethesda region of the service area. This involved regularly meeting with clients at their property to discuss potential projects and maintenance needs, as well as designing, estimating, writing proposals, and selling design/build and maintenance work.
The company offers a wide array of services ranging from enacting and maintaining large estate master plans, to pools and patios, planting and turf, irrigation, lighting, pest management, to regular mowing, weeding, pruning, and other routine landscape maintenance needs. As an account manager, I needed to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the company's services in order to serve the role of a high end one stop shop for busy resident's outdoor needs.

The below pictures show the demolition, construction, and finished product of a residential backyard in Bethesda MD. The client initially approached me looking for a way to flatten out their turf area next to the ball court. I explained that in order to do so, a retaining wall would be needed. From a sales perspective, the wall became a bridge to redesigning the entire backyard to create two tiers of spaces for the wishes of the entire family. Design, construction and landscape installation was all conducted in-house.
