Rooted in a highly collaborative design-build studio, this project explored a range of design strategies to support downtown Muncie’s revitalization efforts. Primary contributions included refining a new design for existing columns and producing the final model, helping to shape an impactful conceptual proposal.

A detailed inventory of over 60 blocks in downtown Muncie was recorded, and a digital model was drafted based on the data. As a team leader, I guided the production of a physical 3' x 3’ model, which was later donated to the Muncie Visitors Bureau.
Using the scaled model, a blind Muncie local explored his town through touch, tracing the buildings and streets with his fingers. This experience is a reminder that design is more than aesthetics or personal expression; it should be inclusive, meaningful, and deeply connected to the people it serves.
