The project involved the creation of semi-detached villas in Aprilia, Italy. The client's objective was to maximize the use of a narrow and elongated plot of land by designing modern villas that incorporate natural materials, neutral colors, and dramatic lighting.
To address this challenge, a design was conceived that combined warmth and modernity. The use of natural materials, such as stone and wood, added a sense of coziness to the architectural volumes. These materials were complemented by details in weathered steel (corten), which brought an industrial touch to the design.
The white volumes of the villas, which cantilevered over the landscape, were accentuated by carefully designed exterior lighting. This dynamic lighting scheme not only highlighted the architectural elements but also created a striking visual impact during the evening hours.
The result was a complex of semi-detached villas that harmoniously blended modern design with natural elements, showcasing the play of materials and dramatic lighting to create a captivating and contemporary living environment.
