VILLA EUREKA

Project details

This summer house is located on a sloping plot with sea views in Northern Crete. Although facing west, the house is oriented north to optimize the view. The concept integrates the building with the landscape, balancing strict geometry with the natural environment. Smaller volumes unfold across the terrain, creating a human-friendly scale with distinct spaces.

Ground-floor volumes, made of local stone, blend with the landscape, forming a solid base for the house, while the upper floor and details are white, highlighting the geometric design.

A key feature is the strong connection between interior and exterior spaces. The first floor opens directly to the main outdoor area, with a large corner opening offering continuous interaction with the environment and sea views.

I was responsible for the conceptual design, technical drawings, 3D visualizations, and client meetings. My role also included overseeing interior architecture, construction administration, and furnishing, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligned with the initial vision.
