The Courts

Project Overview

The Courts at Cypress Waters and the Cypress Waters Trail embody our community’s commitment to health, recreation, and connection. The Courts offer six pickleball courts and three tennis courts, open to both residents and visitors looking to elevate their game and engage with neighbors. Adjacent to the courts, the Cypress Waters Trail welcomes walkers, runners, and cyclists to explore scenic paths along North Lake.

Together, these spaces represent a unique fusion of movement, nature, and purpose. Membership proceeds from The Courts directly fund the ongoing development and preservation of the trail through a 501(c)(3) initiative, Friends of The Cypress Waters Trail. This ensures that every game played and every step taken contributes to a greater cause: enhancing lakeside amenities, supporting sustainability efforts, and fostering a wellness-first community for generations to come.

Details

I was involved in the early design and development phases of The Courts at Cypress Waters, providing key input on programming, amenities, and layout alongside our CEO and development team. I led the research and strategy efforts behind our operational model, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and identifying optimal pricing and programming for both tennis and pickleball offerings. Additionally, I ran our Grand Opening events and organized our first resident summer event, gaining 20+ new memberships.

I supported ongoing marketing and brand positioning for The Courts, and assisted in the launch of our 501(c)(3) non-profit partnership between The Courts and the Cypress Waters Trail. This included shaping messaging around the philanthropic impact of memberships and ensuring alignment between our community wellness mission and daily operations.
