Hotel Lignano

Project overview

Hotel Lignano is an eco-hotel designed with spacious galleries, breath-taking suites, event space, a restaurant and bar, and a large pool area. This elongated site is located in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy within a dense forest near the shore and moments from the Tagliomento River. Hotel Lignano was designed with the intent to use local materials like wood for its cross-laminated timber structure. The corrugated panels serve as a method to preserve energy and allow the galleries protection from the sun. By combining art and functionality, Hotel Lignano offers all communities an avenue to style and comfort.

Details

This senior studio project was a part of a design competition. I solely worked on this project from initial sketching and ideas to finalized renderings and presentation boards.
