KITCHEN

DESIGN PLAN

The renovation reconfigured and expanded the original galley kitchen by removing the existing pantry and cased opening to combine adjacent areas. This transformation added approximately 70 square feet and significantly increased functionality, tripling the usable counter space from 20 to 58 square feet.

This kitchen was designed to feel bright and open while maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. A neutral color palette establishes cohesion throughout, allowing materials to take center stage. Calacatta Vagli marble was used for the countertops and full-height slab backsplash behind the range, creating a clean, sculptural focal point. Matte black fixtures were selected throughout for contrast, with a gold chandelier introducing a layered accent moment above the space.

A new walk-in pantry was created by reworking a portion of the original dining room, which also allowed for the addition of a dedicated office and a new half bath within the revised floor plan, resulting in a more efficient and highly functional layout.
