Project details
This project involves the design and execution of a Fish Farming. Matsyafed, the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Ltd., is the Apex Federation of 666 Primary Fisherman Co-operative Societies spread over 10 districts of Kerala, South India.
The project proposal is to develop the Njarakkal and Malippuram Fish Farms of Matsyafed into a major tourism destination through eco-friendly aqua tourism activities.
Objectives:
Improvement and upgradation of infrastructure facilities
Bringing out innovative activities for the tourist, with a main focus on international tourists
Development projects to be proposed with eco aqua–tourism as the main central concept.
Improving the environmental quality of the place

Results
The project was a great success. The project was completed on time, and the State Tourism was very satisfied with the final result. The design plan was executed effectively, and the resulting space has exceeded expectations. The team also finished construction under the calculated budget of 1 Billion.
