Project details
This project involved designing an automotive museum that portrays how the automotive industry has impacted and advanced our lives. This project seeks to tell a story of the automotive industries advancement from Henry Ford's Model-T to Elon Musk's Tesla and EV technology.
This Project seeks to tell this story of the automotive industry through its exhibit spaces, Visitor experience, and overall aesthetic appearance. One of the key components of this project was rethinking how visitors enter and interact with the museum. The project includes a vehicle conveyor system, similar to that in a car wash, that moves visitors through the exhibit spaces upon arrival to give them a firsthand experience of what it is like to be a part of a vehicle assembly line.

Storytelling
This project was designed to tell a story of progression within the automotive industry through exhibit spaces, visitor experience, and the physical structure. The glazed facade exposes the structure of the design and represents the complexity of the combustion engine, while the roof of the design represents the advancements in aerodynamics and EV technologies. Visitors are also brought into the story and placed on the assembly line to see the production process firsthand. Upon arrival visitors will remain in their vehicles and brought through the exhibition space via conveyor belts to experience the assembly line of an automotive manufacturer. Lastly the exhibit spaces allow visitor to learn how vehicles have advanced from 1908 to present day.
