The color palette is comprised of greys, blues, and browns which will reflect the majestic beauty of the mountains while synthetic sapphire stones will display a part of Montana's history. Black and oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware will add a sleek tone to the mountain ski resort. A wheelchair accessible jacuzzi tub and grab bars will meet the ADA requirements while still being aesthetically pleasing. A mountain mural of reclaimed tile, made by a local craftsman, will be displayed above the bathtub.

Big Sky is a skiing resort located outside of Bozeman, Montana. Big Sky needs to expand their resort to accommodate the surge in demand. They would like the beauty of the mountains to be reflected in the design. Montana was founded on gold and sapphire mines; this idea should be displayed in the design. The design must follow ADA guidelines and include a bath and two lavatories.
• I chose the location of Big Sky Resort because I was born in Montana and visit every year. I wanted to capture the beauty of Montana in this design. I did this by including elements of Montana's history in the sapphire stones that surround the ADA Jacuzzi Bathtub. The mountain mosaic is inspired by a wall mosaic my cousin created in her bathroom. The installation would be done by her team.
• The problems I encountered were making the bathroom an elegant ADA bathroom while staying to the given footprint.
• I used AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Canva.
