"Dheer" - A hanging installation at Anardana
"धीR" is an ensemble of 1000 brass shape utensils "लोटा" which despite of hanging together do not jiggle to make any noise. Its just like our soothing ambiance and refreshing food does, so that the guests with ease can enjoy their joyous moments with everyone.
This art piece represents a spiritual mind. Every single piece of "लोटा" is clustered together craving for liberty like the diverse food menu.
धीR is a unified hard work of so many artisans and co-workers which resembles the basic human necessities of Food and water in one go. It takes us back to early civilization when this form of utensil was a prominent source for consumption of water and gives our place an earthy connection.
The setting is defined by the colour scheme of red, orange, and green. The tassel-wrapped lighting elements, followed by the cane furnishings with plush velvet upholstery and peach-coloured tiling, offer a phoenix ambience of fine dining. A specially curated collection of Bollywood inspired retro artwork adds a quirky flair, creating a timeless dining experience. The airy light drapes in the indoor setting give a gazebo-like feeling, adding a Royal touch.
